My personal top 5 favourite bands.

My personal top 5 Favourite bands

YouTubers like Watchmojo.com and the top 5 will create their own pick of the best artists throughout the years based on statistics and popularity. I don't like to rank my favourites but I am picky about who I make a favourite.

The music I like is mostly pop-punk, metal and anything indie since those themes are what I find interesting since they reflect a lot of what is going on in society and not just sex, money and drugs.

1. Pale Waves

I'm not sure if this came as a surprise I assumed a lot of people reading this would also love Pale Waves which is why it is number 1. The first song I heard was Television Romance and it had this 80's vibe to it which I loved since it had a mixture of those punk and indie elements. Throughout the years the band has changed its style slightly becoming more experimental. I loved Pale Waves so much that I went to see them play live at Cardiff and their performance was out of this world. There is something about the vibrations and live sounds that make live music amazing. Here are some pictures of when I saw them Live.

2. My Chemical Romance

I know this is that band we all listen to in our emo phase. I still listen to them though and I really love their style of music. But also the inspiration for their songs. Their fashion is another reason why they made it on this list since I absolutely love their jackets. They have that military-style look that is both cool and edgy and I've always wanted to get a jacket like the ones they wear I have yet to find one.

3. Hot Milk

This is a band from Manchester that is proof that punk is not dead. It's a funny story how these guys made it on my list since I've listened to their songs but didn't know the name of the band until they played live alongside Pale Waves. I found them on Youtube in a playlist with a Pale waves song. Their song was called Candy Coated Lies and it was a banger. I actually have some pics of them from a live performance when I saw Pale Waves.

4. Dreamstate

This band is from Wales and has elements of screamo music in their work along with punk. What I like is that they seem to sing about the hardships in relationships such as addiction and mental health rather than sex or catcalling. A lot of music influences how people feel from the messages it gives us. A 14-year-old singing about drugs and toxic masculinity is going to normalize those things slightly which is why it's important for bands to make sure that they are giving an educational message. Well done Dreamstate for doing that.

5. Coal Chamber

"shock the Monkey!" yes that coal chamber is what I like. I like the casual look and feel of this band. It gives Ozzy vibes and the accents are also cool. I also like how their songs are about random things and not just one theme or topic.

well, those are my top 5 bands with reasons for picking them. It would be great if we could discuss more music in the comments. Maybe your top 5 bands.
